Logan Drexel Wilson Sr., 91, of Greenville passed away on September 25, 2009 at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas. Services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with Father Gary Herbst officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM, at Ft. Parker Memorial Cemetery in Groesbeck, Texas. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Logan was born March 28, 1918 in Groesbeck, Texas to William Drexel and Mary (Stroud) Wilson. He was retired from Lone Star Gas Co. of Greenville, was very active with the Audie Murphy Museum, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the community in general.
He is survived by his son Logan D. Wilson II and wife Mary Ann, daughter Mary C. Chittenden and husband Ralph, stepson Michael Bruckner and wife Susan. He is survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Byron Chitwood, Tommy Jenkins, Dr. Van Kaden, Bill Ralston, Steve Ramsey and Bob Reeves will serve as pallbearers.
