"Melody,
I am so sorry for your & the girls loss of Ashley. He is now in heaven where there is no more sickness or pain. Since I moved away from Greenville about seven years ago, I didn't know he was even sick. I'm sorry. I would have come by to see him on one of my trips back to Greenville to see my folks. I wish I had known. I said a prayer for y'all. If there is anything I can do, let me know. Please stay active in church & don't turn away from God? Take care.

"Ashley was really a great guy - he will be missed by his family and friends. We still remember him as the young man with the store on Hwy 34 and seeing him with Joe. We bought a day bed from him when he had the store - several years ago Harous put up a flag pole - he had the stainless steel pole but needed a ball to go on the top. He remembered the bed we had bought, he took one of the balls off the bed and put it on the flagpole and it is still there today. We talk and remember Ashley many times when we look at our flagpole. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers"
