"My heart goes out to each and everyone of yall. Your loss is so great and ours too as we have lost a great neighbor, friend and a very sweet precious lady who was more like a family member. I spoke to her on the phone a good while ago and she told me how much she loved my parents and us kids. I told her the same that we loved her. We talked about when I was a small boy and she would call me and say Bubba come talk to us a while I 'll give ya a quarter and I would go up on the porch and her and Harold would be sitting there we would talk a while as I swung around on the porch post and then I would head off to the old store to spend my quarter. Oh what sweet memories I have and always will. We do not understand life sometime, but there is one thing we are assured of is that she will be waiting on us all in heaven when we get there. Again my deepest sympathy and my paryers are with you today and the days ahead."
