Lana Rae Schumacher, 54, of Wills Point passed away on January 3, 2010 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Arkansas.
Lana was born February 16, 1955 in Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada to Ronald Ellis Wayne Anderson and Lillian Maria Allan Anderson. On October 23, 1982, she married William Schumacher in Thompson, Manitoba, Canada. She was a registered nurse working as a school nurse and was a member of the Lutheran faith.
Her survivors include her husband Bill and son Robert Alix Schumacher of Wills Point; father Ronald Ellis Wayne Anderson of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; brother Donald Anderson and wife Valerie of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada; sisters Delsie Lambertson and husband Erik of Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada and Lesa Melnick of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; special niece and nephew Manny and Ronnie Melnick; several nieces and nephews Jody Warnes, Jason & Ronald Perreaux, Eric and Josh Anderson, and Crystal Lambertson; great-nieces and nephews Mylo Anderson, McKenzie Hoarde, Jaylynn Perreaux, and Jacob Warnes; favorite cousin Lorraine Ecklund; and aunt and uncle Ann & Milo Olson.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
