June Whitley
June Whitley, 83, born in Hunt County on October 20, 1926 and passed away January 10, 2010 at her home in Mesquite. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She grew up in Quinlan graduating from school from Boles Home. She was a homemaker and caretaker of her handicapped daughter. She loved to cook and loved to garden. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Trena and Lloyd Baker; daughter-in-law Linda Whitley; granddaughters Kelly Herrera and her husband Buddy, Dana Lynn and her husband Galen, and Shannon Gomez; great-grandchildren John Mark Patterson; Nicholas Herrera; Chase, Shelby and Ryan Lynn; Briana, Emily and Hailee Gomez; pet cat Zoe; sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Marlin Crawford; sister and brother-in-law Patsy and Darrell White; brother and sister-in-law Durel and Linda Williams; brother-in-law and wife John and Londa Jean Whitley; sister-in-law Merle Dunn; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, son Douglas Whitley and daughter Kathryn Whitley. She will be loved and missed by all who loved her. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at
