Tressie MarieDooley

Tressie Marie Dooley, 86, of Greenville passed away January 12, 2010 at Hunt Regional Medical Center.  Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Prairie Valley Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dooley was born December 13, 1923 in the Sullivan Community of Hunt County to Fletcher and Bill Jane Bruce Hassell.  On August 30, 1939 she married Arvie Dee Dooley in Prairie Valley.   She taught kindergarten, preschool, and was owner and operator of Dooleys’ Day Care Center of Euless, Quitman, Winnsboro, and Mineola.  She was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church and Lighthouse Sunday School Class. 

Her survivors include her son Timothy Dee Dooley and wife Bonnie of Greenville; daughter Vicki Hazzard and husband Preston of Euless; sisters-in-law Wanda Gooch of Greenville and Lois Myers and husband Bobby of Plano; brother-in-law Dois Dooley and wife Wanda of Davis, Oklahoma; grandchildren Pete and Whitney Hazzard of Little Elm;

Tracey and Matt Boyle of Bedford; Kimberly and Nathan Stroh of Humble; Dawn Dooley of Greenville; and Colleen Dooley of Greenville; and great-grandchildren Caitlyn, Lauren and Cameron Hazzard, John Preston and Gracey Boyle, and Blake and Owen Stroh.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband in 2008.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Pete and Whitney Hazzard, Tracey and Matt Boyle, Kimberly and Nathan Stroh, Dawn Dooley and Colleen Dooley.

The family requests memorials be made to the Lighthouse Sunday School Class of Highland Terrace Baptist Church or the FISH ministries.
