"I know that you do not know me, but Lois Hackworth became my friend at Walnut Place. I am the pastor of Central Christian Church in Dallas and visit one of my parishoners there almost every Tuesday afternoon. When Lois saw me walk by she always called me over with a big smile. She was definitely a bright spot in my Tuesdays and for Walnut Place. I didn't see her today and learned of her passing. I will miss her warm welcome and friendly presence. She was a gift of God for me and for residents and staff at Walnut Place. May God grant you the comfort of his peace and presence, knowing that Lois was such a wonderful person - an encouragement to all around her."

With love and prayers,
