Bobby “Jerry”Standlee

Bobby (Jerry) Standlee, 65, of Celeste, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Dallas.  Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, July 16, 2010, in Coker-Mathews Chapel with Mr. J. W. Reeves, Jr. officiating.

Mr. Standlee was born in Greenville, Texas on August 17, 1944.  He was the son of Bob Standlee and Imogene Etheridge Standlee.  He married Wanda Bramlett on June 10, 1980.  He was a superintendent at the City of Greenville water plant and a Baptist.

Mr. Standlee is survived by his wife, Wanda Standlee of Celeste; daughters Jennifer Stringer of Garland, Tamara Jenkins of Greenville, and Tammy Anderson and husband, Richard of Greenville; son, Johnny Ray Bramlett of Greenville; brothers Larry Standlee of Windom, Wayne Standlee of Kansas, Travis Standlee of Beaumont, Steve Standlee of Bonham, and Terry Standlee of Houston; sisters, Judy Bridges of Ivanhoe, Lila Smith and Wanda Barr both of South Carolina, and Freida Riddle; grandsons, Michael White, Harrison Stringer, James Bramlett, and Nathan Jenkins; granddaughters, Ashley and Katie Bramlett.  He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Standlee was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Ben Jenkins; father-in-law, Raymond McClure; mother-in-law, Loretta Owings; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Pippin and Betty Jenkins; and sisters, Deborah Standlee and Bobbie Standlee.
