Opal Phillips Stark, 79, of Campbell passed away September 7, 2010 at her residence.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Brigham Cemetery with Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating.  Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Stark was born December 4, 1930 in Greenville to Jessie Lee and Mary Sheeks Phillips.  On July 5, 1947, she married Billy R. Stark in Greenville and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughters Paula Miller of Campbell and Janet Weaver and husband Robert of Tyler; son Phillip Stark of Campbell; grandchildren Ronny Ivy of Campbell, Denise Miller Nichols and husband Bill of Greenville, Heather Stark Puckett and husband Corey of Longview, Tina Vickers Vestal and husband Shane of Tyler, Wendy Vickers Vestal and husband Robert of Tyler; great-grandchildren Hannah and Hattie Puckett of Longview, Andrew and Mariah Nichols of Greenville, Tyler Vestal of Longview, Lauren & December Vestal of Tyler, Phillip and Todd Barker of Tyler; sisters-in-law Serena Helton and Owana DeGarso of Greenville and Judy Stone and husband Mickey of Caddo Mills; brother-in-law George Stark and wife Eula Mae of Caddo Mills and closest and dearest friends A. B. (Honey Boy) & Nancy Madewell of Commerce.

Her parents, husband and two brothers Wilber and Ernest Phillips preceded her in death,

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Keith DeGarso, George Ray Helton, Gary DeGarso, Quint Madewell, Bobby Madewell, and Tyler Vestal.  Honorary pallbearers will be A. B. (Honey Boy) Madewell and Jack Kanaman.
