Wm. Kolby Redding

 

Wm. Kolby Redding, 20, of Campbell, died Friday morning in Greenville.  Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at Brigham Cemetery with Rev. Adam Hailes officiating.

 

Kolby was born in Dallas, Texas on September 4, 1990.  He was the son of Chamelon Jean South Redding and William Keith Redding.  He was a song writer and planned on entering college in December to study audio and video with plans to become a producer.

Kolby loved music and sports.  His whole life was his son, Kyren. 

 

He is survived by his mother, Chamelon Jean South-Redding; father, William Keith Redding; grandmother, Jennifer South; son, Kyren Michael Holton; sister, Kandice Redding; brother, Wm. Korey Redding; and aunt Rhonda Cuccia.   He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Doris South.

 

Pallbearers will be Ryan Ramsey, Phillip Edwards, Mike Jones, Edward Doss, Cory Heath and Te-quaylon Brown.

"I miss you greatly. I will miss our long talks and how easily it was for you to make me smile. I miss you coming up behind me and scaring me half to death with the loud teridactle noise you would make. I will miss you calling me in the middle of the night just to talk. I loved to hear your voice. I remember you calling me right after you got off the phone with the college and letting me know you got in. And wanting to use me as a referance. I could never say a bad word about you ever. The bond we had was great and I will never forget you. I will make sure I tell Kyren all the great memories I have of you and how head over heals you were of him. I love looking at him because he looks just you baby boy. I love you and miss you and please give Chris a big hug and kiss from me and your nieces. Courtney Caitlyn and Caylee will miss you. We all loved you very much. And they will always remember how you would drop what you were doing to be there for him. And cheering them on at their basketball and baseball games. And I remember you looking at me and say, they get that from me. And I know they did because you tought them all they knew about sports after they lost their dad. I love you and miss you and I will take care of Kandice and her new baby and your mother and Grandma."
