Sandra Joan Daniels, 70, of Celeste passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Coker-Mathews Chapel. Burial will follow at Celeste Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, November 22, 2010 at the funeral home.
She was born September 13, 1940 in Hunt County to Hubert Leon Shields and Tommie Jo Ewing. She married Teddy Zane Daniels on February 22, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and belonged to the Methodist faith.
Surviviors include a son, Keith Daniels and wife Gail of Celeste; a daughter, Cindy Blackburn of Knoxville, Tennessee; a brother, Ron Shields and wife Carla of Euless; grandchildren, Waylon Daniels, Ryan and Meredith Blackburn, and Scherie and Ashley Dood; a great-grandchild, Serenity Moore; and nieces, Lori and Suzy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a great-grandchild Destiny Dood.
Pallbearers will be John Eudy, Cal Gibson, Charles Montgomery, Dan Soles, Jim Clark and Joseph Horton.
