"i was davids best freind we was like brothers he had a heart of gold he was there for me when i needed him the most i was like his little brother he always protected me i could write a book about all the good memories we had but it would take a yr hed give me the shirt off his back every time i needed a place to stay he was there evrytime i needed somebody to have my back he was there we was like bo and luke duke we was like brothers every where david went i went it was like we was part of each other i love ya bro i love daves family i knew him since 1995 i member how we use to mudden and pull people out and how he wouldnt charge the people to pull them out i remember one night when dave and i went to cowboys red river and he went to the guy who controled the mechanical bull and said i use to ride rodeo and the guy cranked it up and before i got on the bull he said cowboy up and i remember when dave bought new clothes hed always give me his old ones i can go on and on it would take yrs i remember when we took his sun lane to town east mall and dave went to park the truck i was holden his son lane when he was a baby and all these girls started comen up to me and sayen hes so cute and there had to ben like ten or 20 women and dave said man i oughta bring him to the mall more often i remember wylie botoms how we use to go to wylie bottoms all the time and how we use to have to clean the mud off his moms drive way and street i remember how dave and i use to go to the west end before he had kids and there was this crane that ya can bunjy jump from and he said ill give ya 20 bucks if ya do it i said im scared of hights and he said ill make it 40 and i said ok and i did it i remember when he had his first buisness called golden image and he gave me a job detailen cars he tought me how to do it dave was like my brother he had a heart of gold every girl i ever dated he told them ya best treat my little brother right and if ya make hurt him u gona deal with me he told them he use to tell my mom and dad that if they ever had a problem with me to let him know and theyd take care of it his kids call me uncle gary i can go on and on and on dave was always there for me he was like my guardian angel he was very protective over me he could pick on me but nobody else could we was seriously like the duke boys and if ya knew dave like i knew dave he had a heart of gold if ya wana know more im gona be at the memorial love his mom his kids and jamey like a big sister she was there for me a lot also his dad there wasnt nothen i couldnt tell dave and daves sister i went to school with if ya wana know how dave and i met id have to tell ya in person like a mutual freind of dave and mine said to me on the phone the other day i was like a leach i always had to be around dave most of the time he was my bro he will always be a part of me forever love goes to his family and to jamey and his sister and his mom and dad there is more i just would have to tell in person love to everyone keep ya head s up"
