"My deepest sympathy to the Dutton Family. I would be there except the Doctor told me today that I have pneumonia, so I can't come.
Jack was such a fine man, and I cherished his friendship over the years and enjoyed our visits when he would stop by. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very difficult time."

"Jack Dutton and Percy Williams of the Grady Chevrolet Service Department kept my vehicles in top running condition throughout my college years and well into my professional career. I even drove in from Corsicana, Texas to get my cars worked on at the dealership while they were over the service department. I think of both of these guys when I think of that department and the pranks they played on me when I would come with my father (who was close to both of them) to pick up my cars after their being serviced or repaired. I miss both of them. The service department at that dealership will never be the same. Jack left his mark there as well as with his family."
