Patricia Juanita Carter, 91, of Greenville, died Friday, February 4, 2011, in Briarcliff Health Center.  Funeral Services will be Monday, February 7, 2011, at 2:00 PM in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kelly Carr officiating.  Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 M until service time.

 

Mrs. Carter was born January 22, 1920, in Abilene, Texas.  She was the daughter of Oscar David Williams and Lovera Marcum Williams.  She married Joe R. Carter on October 6, 1950, in Greenville.  She was a member of Central Christian Church and was a retired line supervisor for Haggar. 

 

She is survived by her son, Ron Carter and his wife, Barbara of Greenville; grandsons David Carter and his wife, Elsa of Greenville and Andy Carter and Taryn Heckadon of Dallas; sister, Aloma Lee Kennedy of Pensacola, Florida.  Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Joe R. Carter, January 29, 2011; her parents; sisters, Tessie Williams Ruby and Oleta Williams Allen; and a brother, Forest Robinson.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Carter, David Carter, Jeremiah Walker, James Earl Carter, Jr., Fred Reynolds and Ron Robinson.
