Charles R.Tillman

Charles R. Tillman, 80, of Greenville passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at The Legends Health Care.  No services are scheduled.

Mr. Tillman was born July 14, 1930 in Campbell, Texas to Truman and Elsie Brown Tillman.  He served his country in the U. S. Marines and worked as a Floor Manager in the Steel Industry.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his sons, Larry Tillman of Princeton, James Tillman of Greenville; daughters, Debra Hawes and Marti Pageler both of Greenville; three sisters, Catherine, Linda and Louise; grandchildren, Stephen Escalante, Chasity Haley, Alexandria Schnell, Chris Tillman, Justin Tillman and Katy Tillman; great-grandchildren, Haley Escalante, Colton Martin, Brittany Tillman, Ethan Tillman, Hayden Tillman, Madison Tillman and Shane Tillman and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Audie Marie Tillman; brother, Buddy Tillman; and grandson, Michael Escalante
