Kenneth Eugene Lindsey
Kenneth Eugene Lindsey, 79, of Campbell, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, in Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lyndon Petty officiating. Burial will be in Brigham Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mr. Lindsey was born February 11, 1932 in Wieland, Texas to Luther Sherman Lindsey and Martha Mae Skaggs Lindsey. On Novembser 30, 1949, he married Jimmie Lee Baber in Pike, Texas. He was a former Dairy Former in Arkansas and was the owner of Keno Construction Company in Campbell. He served his country in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Lindsey of Campbell; daughters, Barbara Skeen of Sulphur Springs and Melissa Thompson of Campbell; sister, Letha Underwood of Campbell; grandchildren, Maranda Irvin of Campbell, Lindsey Icenhower of Sulphur Springs, Kenneth Busby of Campbell and Kjerstie Busby of Doyline, Louisiana; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lawrence, Virgil, Ellis Ray, Freddy Joe (Buddy) and Leroy Lindsey.
Pallbearers will be Sam Barrow, Sammy Elmore, Lee Greninger, Mike Perkins and Jason Pitts. Honorary pallbearers will be John Fuggit, Jack Ogle, Bill Ross and Nathan Smith.
