Glenda JuneElmore

Glenda June Elmore was born to Fred June and Lorene (Nicholson) Creamer on December 26, 1941.  She attended Commerce public schools and was employed by Sherwood Medical in Commerce until she retired.  She lived in Greenville with her daughter Kathy until her death on March 30, 2011, when she lost her battle with cancer at their home surrounded by her loving family and friends.  She was married to Billy Ray Helton, and they had four children, Shelia Barks of Wolfe City, Kathy Thomas of Greenville, Steven Helton of Greenville and Nannette Helton of Paris. 

She is survived by her four children; two sisters Annette Jones of Georgetown and Delores Haygood of Milton, Florida; six grandchildren Kevin Gammon of Wolfe City, Sammy Thomas of Campbell, Cody Gammon of Farmersville, Ariel Helton of  Sulphur Springs, and Steven and Stacy Sorrell of Colbert, Oklahoma; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April lst to celebrate her life. Dr. James Ralson will officiate.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  We know that she rest in the loving arms of her Savior and will suffer no more.
