Janie Sue (Thomason)McInnis

Janie Sue Thomason McInnis, 85, passed away May 1, 2011 at Hunt Regional Medical Center.  Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Morgan officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Born November 3, 1925 in Greenville, she was the daughter of J. B. & Edith (Aven) Thomason.  She worked at Texas Instruments for 30 years until her retirement.  She was a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ for many years.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  After she retired, her grandchildren were her life.  She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her son Philip McInnis and his wife, Lori of Caddo Mills; daughters Lisa McInnis of Greenville and Vicky Van Zandt and husband Jay of White Oak; brother Jerry Thomason and wife Evelyn of Wills Point; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Gary McInnis; brothers James and Kenneth Thomason; sister Vodene Ragsdale; and one great-granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy McInnis, Shaun Feagin, Casey Feagin, Dyllon McInnis, Tayt McEvers, and Zackery McEvers.  Honorary pallbearer will be Sebastian Tatum.
