Mary Nita Money, 81, of
Born June 2, 1930, in Lone Oak, Mary was the daughter of Dale and Willie (Fannin) Morris. On January 19, 1951, she married James Money in Rockwall. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2008. She was employed as a substitute teacher and principal’s secretary for the
Survivors include sons Kyle Money and wife Angie of Rockwall and Greg Money and wife Laurie of Colleyville; daughter Melanie (Money) Tillery and husband Dale of Garland; brother Harvey Joe Morris and wife, Mary of Sulphur Springs; sister Reba Nell Dooley and husband, E. J. of Boerne; grandchildren BreAnna Heavin and husband Alex, Brielle, Brewer and Bretleigh Money, Amanda Thornton and husband Dan, Matthew, Madison, Molly, Abigale and Audrey Money, Meredith Tillery and husband Aaron Gin, Derek Tillery and wife Marlene, and M’Lynn and Macie Tillery; great-grandchildren Amelia and Clara Thornton and Noah Gin; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, sister LuAnn Pendleton, and brother J. D. Morris.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Money, Madison Money, Aaron Gin, Derek Tillery, Brewer Money, and Dan Thornton. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandchildren Amelia and Clara Thornton and Noah Gin.
