"Carolyn and Gene were our friends for over 2 decades. They were always kind to us. When Hal was hospitalized Gene was the first one at the hospital. Carolyn was Theresa's boss at CDF as well as her dear friend. Even though we all moved from Mariposa after retirement we kept in touch and had many great phone calls and memories."

"Carolyn was the sweetest lady I knew by phone only. She was my mom's (Joan Roberts ) best friend from high school in Holdenville, Oklahoma. I never got to meet her in person but she wanted me to come see her there in Texas, but I never made it. I'm sorry I never made it. I enjoyed talking with her. I'm sure she's probably talking to my mom in Heaven now remembering the good times they had. My heart goes out to all her family in her loss. May God be with you all in this sad time."

"Such a loving and gentle person the world will never see again! My Father, J.R. Ford, was a step-uncle to Carolyn and he was about 10 yrs. her senior. I have very fond memories of vising Mr. & Mrs Glenn Caldwell in southern California and playing with Carolyn. Her husband, Gene White, owned an XJ-120 Jaguar sports car and terrified all of us when driving in the California mountains! They were such a loving couple and always donating to help others! God Bless!"
