Frances DellWhite

Frances Dell White, 75, of Terrell (formerly of Greenville) passed away September 18, 2011 at M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at Park Street Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating.  Burial will be in Caney Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Born November 27, 1935, in Hunt County, Frances was the daughter of Lester and Ellen (Boydston) White.  She was a retired technical writer from E/Systems.  Frances loved life and fought a courageous battle during a lengthy illness that took her life.

Survivors include the love of her life, John Henderson of Terrell; daughters Cindy Melis of Lancaster and Brenda Shollenberger of Duncanville; brothers Thurman White and Gary White both of Greenville; sisters Jean Green and Donnie Sikes both of Greenville; grandchildren Brandon Jennings of Springfield, Virginia, Brett Jennings of Farmers Branch, Amber Stiller of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Neil, Chad, and Lara Evans; great-grandchildren William and Nathaniel Jennings and Hannah, Emily Grace, and Morgan Evans; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 sisters.

The family request memorials be made to M. D. Anderson Hospital of Houston or

Baylor University Medical Center Hospital in Dallas.
