Mary Lois Hyder, 78, of Greenville passed away October 13, 2011 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at Chambers-McKinney-Hyder Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 in Hampton, Tennessee.
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Born November 17, 1932 in Rosebud, Texas, Mary was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Belle (Cranford) Dockery. She married Norman E. Hyder; he preceded her in death. She worked as a housekeeper for Bristol Regional Hospital in Bristol, Tennessee. Her church membership had been at Key Street Pentecostal in Bristol and most recently at Bull Creek Cowboy Church in Lone Oak.
Her survivors include her children Carolyn Sue Baldwin and husband, Gene Sr. of Greenville, Rickey Eugene Hyder of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Bobby Hyder and wife, Carol of Lynchburg, Virginia; brothers Rufus and J. W. Dockery; sister Joyce Traylor; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sons Claude Cranford and Danny Wayne Hyder, and two brothers.
