"Dear Bertina, We lived in a duplex at 3936 Lee St. in Greenville, Texas back in 1960. I remember all the wonderful visits we used to have and she was so kind and sweet to me. I had no idea of how to cook, keep house, shop for groceries, etc. and she was like a mother to me. She gave me so much wonderful advice and I will never forget her. I was only 19 years old and she was definitely a positive force in my life. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
Dr. Georgia C. Hudson, Dallas, Texas"
