Our Mom, Nana, and Great Grandma, Dora Flossie (Floyd) Patterson, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 23rd after a lingering illness. She was born in
Dora is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Kelsey, her parents and one brother. She will be greatly missed by her children: Patricia Bowman (Jerry), Robert Patterson (Sandra), June Hicks (Ron), Peggy Diaz (Dennis), Kelsey Patterson, Jr. (Jane) and Terry Callahan (Rick); her grandchildren: Tim and Tom Bowman, Kelley and Shannon Patterson, Tina Hicks, and Jasey and Jake Patterson; her great-grandchildren: Austin, Mariah and Emma Bowman; and her brother, Bubba Floyd.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 27th from 5 to 7 pm at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home,
The family would like to especially thank Dr. Fernando Urritia for the excellent care he provided Mom during her long illness. Our thanks also go to Dr. Edmundo Yrigoyen, Dr. Kim Horn and Dr. Lazaro Cherem along with Odyssey Hospice staff for the care provided. A special thanks goes to Mom’s neighbor, Manika Coronado for all of her support during this difficult time.
