Jennifer was born June 27, 1967, in Durant, Oklahoma, to Jerry Barnes and Betty Jean Barrowman. She was a homemaker and a member of First Pentecostal Church of God. Jennifer loved big and loved many. Children were her passion and even though she did not have any of her own she was always there for her friends children and their children's children she loved them all like her own. She was such an inspiration to all, with all her sickness she never once let it get the best of her she thanked Jesus for good reports and was quick to share the good news with everyone. Jennifer had many communities of friends and family that loved her dearly and we her family are forever grateful.
She is survived by her brother, Dewayne Barnes II and wife, Kristina; sister, Jamie Denton and husband, Carlos; nieces, Kortni Nelson and husband, Seth, and Kacie Denton and fiancé, Jordan Sorrells; nephews, Tre Barnes and fiancé, Danielle Wilson, and Jacob Denton and wife, Becca; and great-niece, Averie Nelson.

Jacksonville, TX Monday, August 28, 2023 I am so happy that I was able to visit with her recently. Since I moved away I don't see many of my classmates. We planned on having lunch the next time I was in town, unfortunately that didn't happen. She was such a sweet person, as were her parents, especially Betty. Jamie & Dwayne I am sad for you loss. She was super special to me and others of course. KimConnie Martin
