East Flat Rock, NC Monday, December 16, 2024 What a privilege to be able to watch Barbara's memorial service online! Many, many of the photos brought back memories of the years we worked side-by-side with this dear friend and colleague at the Haven. Barbara's quick wit, boundless energy, and lovely voice, along with her kindness, forgiving spirit, and total dedication to serving God, were some of the ways she graced the world. And could she make the best pies!!Well done, good and faithful servant! ❤️

Upland, CA Tuesday, December 10, 2024 Dear Jim and Family, I can only begin to imagine the reception in heaven when Barbara crossed the threshold into glory. I am certain there was a delegation of Moroccan believers there to welcome her. Her example of love, service and dedication is not something that can be forgotten. It was a privilege to live and work in the same country for a number of years and to visit the Haven several times. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn and celebrate her life.Robert MacNaughton
Dingwall, Tuesday, December 10, 2024 Memories, memories, dear Jim and Barbara. From first meeting you both at the Haven in the 70s - Mam Wennie and Ma Mary, Chico & Charlotte, Henry & Pat, Myrna, Omar & Malika. Periodic games and stories with the young ones there. Danny and Timmy with myself and Falaki in Fes for a year in the late 70s. An ongoing weekly contact with Badia’s son-in-law in Oujda, triggered not so long ago by Malika. Time now standing still to remember an age gone by. Precious memories of Barbara. Not forgotten. Robert MacNaughtonRay Shive
