Mrs. Penrod was born on March 3, 1929 in Hornbeck, Louisiana to Thomas Savell and Nancy Mae Eason. She married Marshall J. Penrod on March 3, 1952 in Louisiana. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Collier and husband, Ed; brother, Tim Savell and wife, Rebecca; sister, Rose Markham; grandchildren, Chuck Fain and wife, Suzanne, Chris Fain, John P. Penrod and wife, Kristin, Katie Bratsch and husband, Joel, Jared Penrod and wife, Emily, and Bridget Jordan and husband, Allen; eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, John Penrod, siblings, Romona Savell, Huey Peter Savell, Sam Savell, and Lucy Bell Savell.
