Gary was born on October 7, 1951 in Greenville, Texas to Cleeteon Blunt and Dorothy Jacks. He worked for several different printing companies for many years as a bindery and printer operator. He was a loved dad to his daughter and Pepa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela Hix and son-in-law, Allen Hix; two grandsons and wives, Troy Woodson Jr., and wife, McKayla Woodson and Tyler Woodson and wife, Kaylee Woodson; three great-granddaughters, Elara, Laramie and Calli; and his little buddy and furry grandson, Asher.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Caddo Mills, TX Sunday, May 10, 2026 Gary I know your memories will never be forgotten, you always made sure of that, you made every one laugh, and you were always by Aggie side through think and then, no matter what’s she done or you did, it didn’t matter because love was thinker then anything that came your way, you were a god send for her..so you will be missed and your memories never forgotten, your a peace and you know she’s being taken care of,so run again jump again because you are made young again and full of life, with your family that’s been waiting on you,..until everyone meets again.
