Welcome to
Coker-Mathews
Funeral Home
You can be truly comfortable calling upon the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Our history goes back many years to our founders, L.O. "Jim" Coker, Dowell Mathews, Paul Mathews and Emma Dell Mathews all served this community with dedication.
My name is Butch Mitchell. I worked here while still in high school in 1966. Eight years later I became a licensed funeral director and have been here since. Our family became owners in 1988. I am the President of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home and am proud to still be serving the families in my community.
We employ more licensed funeral directors and support personnel than any funeral home in the area; which means fewer problems before, during and after the funeral.
"Dedicated Service" tradition of our founders.
